2 in a row

Not only is LN "going out" with a boy at 13 yr old but now
last night another rite of passage started.
Can't say what cause she'd be pissed if I did but ladies use your imagination.
Really losing my baby but
gaining a beautiful young lady!

  1. She would be mortified LOL but I'll go ahead and give a cheesy "awwwwwww"! You are doing great, mom... keep repeating! Some days I'm happy to only have boys but ask me again in a few years!

    1. Don't wanna scare you but my son was worse than girls during puberty. His hormones were full on to the moon and back Ethel! I think both sexes have equal drama with diff issues though. Good luck with your guys in a few years.

    1. LN hoped my keepin body fat at 15% she could dodge the issue . That only bought her a lil time. I started around 11 as did my sisters. She ll learn to deal as we did.

  3. And it's all just beginning, Mama.

Erin, boys have GOT to be easier. Just look at all the crud we gals have to go through. Throw in the emotions (that are MUCH different and more pronounced than a male's) and females don't have a chance at a smooth ride.

You don't need to pass this on to LN, Lisa, but I suffered severe pain with my menstrual cycles from the time they started until I had my whole insides cleaned out (not really but the scar tissue from the endometriosis was attached to everything but my toenails, said the surgeon) at age 45. I know there are gals who aren't bothered much by menses but it sure seems most are. I always wondered what "affliction" boys had to go through that was comparable! Answer: NOTHING!

    1. MamaPea I'm with you there. Each month I cringe. I hoping LN is spared that part. I also hope I am soon ;)
