Ouch

As LN trapped her 3 wk old feeder last night he decided to retaliate a but. He kicked back right as she approached him in chute. POP heard round the world as 2 little toes made contact with her knee. Ouch!

  1. Oh no! That looks like it hurts! I'm still skiddish of my goats hooves after I so dumbly took them for a walk in SANDALS! My doe stepped on my foot and twisted which instantly made a golf ball size welp on the top of my foot! I guess I'm not the brightest crayon in the box LOL! I hope LN's knee gets better soon, poor girl ☺

    1. She's fine just sore today. He whopped her good. The point of his toes caught her at the top of her kneecap and slid upwards.

    1. Carolyn, it hurt her pride more than her leg. Little stiff and sore but tough girl. She stayed out with him as her BIL S2 finished haltering and working with him.

    1. Thanks for thought Candy C. LN said he ached the next day but she didn't notice after 24 hr.

  4. Good thing he didn't crack her right on the knee cap! There's always danger of injuries when working with animals, but it's hard to avoid every one. Glad she's gonna be fine with a little time.

    1. She's a tough "old" bird! Each time something like this occurs she gets a little less girly about it. She used to panic and get all weeping about everything as a result of our crash 5 yrs ago. Gradually she's realizing: it's ok, I'm fine, I'll live. Tough lil girl!
