Finite

I hope that's the correct spelling ;)

First pair of socks is complete. Not perfect at all. I know my mistakes. But complete...

They are loose on me because I cast on with double needles. Guess I didn't know I was a loose knitter MamaPea! They will be worn by one of us. Washing may shrink them some with their wool content.

I'm just happy I stuck with them.

Now what to cast on?

This day is rushing towards us. Ready or not!

My sweet pea turned one yesterday. Check out the lashes!!! I wish they were mine.

We will celebrate with a party on Saturday then follow up with LN's last prom.

Um that is if I let her out of the house.

  1. Ha to laugh at that last comment. I have two going to prom this weekend. It will be a lot of driving around, as one has a date that doesn't drive yet. Oye. Love the socks.

  2. Yay for your finished socks!! Good, good job. Have you ever used elastic thread? I've used it to "tighten" the loose cuffs of a sweater. I'll bet it would work on the top ribbing of your socks, if you wanted to give it a go.

Graduation from high school, turning one year old. No matter their age, they grow up too, too fast.

    1. I'm wearing the socks now. I'm surprised they are staying up. If they stretch too much I may try the elastic thread.
