A royal mess of snow, sleet, rain and ice is coming through Delaware.
Of course I had to take LN to a 4-H holiday contest with her Gingerbread creation.
My MIL needed groceries, my son asked me to drop off a bag of dogfood as well.
So much for staying inside where it's warm and dry.
I brought all the decorations out of the storage area but I'm not enthused yet.
I have went through 3 rubbermate containers and only took out a few favorites.
My taste are a-changing as they say.
I've got all my decorating done . . . except for the tree. We have a small one, as usual, 'cause that's all we can fit in. This afternoon we got it up in the stand and I wanted to get the lights on it tonight but I'm pooping out fast. It will probably be a shower and to bed early with a book.
ReplyDeleteJust not feeling the mess and clutter. It is a lot of work also. I think I'll look for a smaller tree this year. Friends of LN are selling trees so we're going to support them this year.
DeleteOoops, I forgot to say stay safe and warm if the storm hits your area. We're currently getting snow, the temp is 11° so it's light and fluffy. Not supposed to amount to more than a couple of inches.
ReplyDeleteI don't go out unless its an emergency MamaPea. I prefer to stay home and enjoy the snow's beauty.
DeleteAn Igloo Ginberbread House?! How inventive AND cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm still stuck at home, Day Five of the Great Snow/Ice-In. Oh well.
She has fun every year doing different types of gingerbread "houses" she s done a pueblo, teepee and millhouse in past years.
